Dr. Dat Bui O.D

Founder | Developer

Dr. Bui is an optometrist at the Apple Wellness Center in the heart of Silicon Valley. He has a deep passion for ocular disease and  healthcare technology.

Raised in the beautiful Bay Area of California, Dr. Bui received his B.S degree in Psychobiology and a minor in Neuroscience from the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA). He earned his doctorate of optometry degree from the prestigious Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton. During his optometric education, Dr. Bui completed externships at the Southern Arizona Veteran Affairs Hospital in Tucson, Arizona, Indian Health Service Hospital in Crownpoint, New Mexico, Wellish Laser and Surgery Center in Las Vegas, Nevada and University Eye Clinic in Fullerton, California. He is also the CEO/Co-Founder of ODonFinance, the largest financial optometry community. 

Lastly, Dat wants to help all new doctors be the best clinicians that they can be!

Dr. Chris Lopez O.D

Dr. Christopher Lopez graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry. He is originally from Southern California and now resides in the Midwest with his family. Chris focuses on ocular disease at a heavy medical private practice, and provides fill-in work for correctional facilities. Providing medical eye care to underserved populations offers a residency-like pathology experience. Additionally, Chris heads a dry eye clinic offering advanced treatments for ocular surface disease such as intense pulse light (IPL). He publishes articles for different optometry journals and online platforms, including ODs On Finance.

Chris is passionate about our industry and providing the highest level care to all patients.

Robert Yacoub O.D

Dr. Yacoub, a native of Southern California, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California at Los Angeles in 2002. In 2006, he received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry. He then completed a residency in Primary Care/Geriatric Optometry at the VA Sepulveda Medical Center. In 2007, Dr. Yacoub joined the Southern California College of Optometry as a full-time faculty member with clinical teaching responsibilities in the Primary Care/Ocular Disease Services. He also teaches in ocular disease, ocular health procedures, clinical medicine, and case analysis laboratories and courses.

Rob is passionate about ocular disease and helping out optometry students and doctors excel in their clinical knowledge.
