SYMPTOMS Mostly glare (especially with night driving) | Blurry vision | Possibly altered color perception
SIGNS Radial/spoke-like cortical opacification | Lens vacuoles
WORK-UP History | Slit lamp examination | Dilated fundus exam | Glare testing and/or potential acuity meter (PAM) may be useful
TREATMENT Observation | Cataract surgery
FOLLOW-UP Annually if no surgery | If cataract surgery is performed, a typical post-op schedule includes 1 day, 1 week, and 1 month post-op exams
